In the mid-90s, the Netherlands was really one big rave. Gabber ruled — shaved heads under bucket hats, Aussie tracksuits, giant sneakers, and dance floors full of hugging strangers.

Out of that glorious chaos came Nakatomi, produced by Danski & Delmundo — the hitmakers who would later unleash global sensations Vengaboys and Alice Deejay.

Nakatomi stormed the Dutch Top 40 with their debut single “” (#17), follow-up “” (#5), and the immortal anthem “” (#2). Alongside fellow heroes Party Animals, Paul Elstak, Charly & Theo, and Critical Mass, they caught the unstoppable lightning of the gabber era — pounding kicks and sugar-rush melodies flying by at 180 beats per minute.

That energy still lives on. Today, Nakatomi lights up select events with high-octane live shows that feel like stepping straight back into the golden age of Dutch Happy Hardcore. Relive the rave. Get Up!
